Objectives: Operative repair of Achilles tendon ruptures have shown successful outcomes. However, little is know about the amount of tendon or repair site lengthening after repair and if lengthening is affected by rehab protocols. The purpose of our study was to compare lengthening of the Achilles tendon after surgical repair, comparing traditional and accelerated rehab protocols.
