Introduction: Neonatal sepsis is a serious problem that needs to be addressed for a better outcome of the neonates. This study was conducted to determine the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV) and negative predictive value (NPV) of C-Reactive Protein (CRP) in neonates with sepsis in comparison with blood culture. Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out in clinically suspected neonates with sepsis in a tertiary hospital. Association between C-reactive protein and blood culture positivity in neonatal sepsis was studied.
