Introduction: swallowing disorders are common and increase with age or with the presence of multiple pathologies. Symptoms are not always typical for elderly people but there are numerous organical and psychological complications. There is a need of multiprofessional and compensatory management with postural and nutritional adaptations such as the modification of food textures.
