Loris Malaguzzi (1920-1994) : un pédagogue contemporain

Loris Malaguzzi (1920 – 1994), the founder ofthis approach, really inspired by the greatest figures of the ProgressiveEducation, always in search of how it is possible to realise his educationaldream, in the vanguard of the scientific research, has been caring on a realstruggle to provide the children of his town with high quality preschoolservices. So, who reaDepuis 1963, la ville de Reggio Emilia, au Nord de l’Italie, est le théâtre d’une expérience originale enmatière d’éducation préscolaire. Un véritable réseau de trente-quatre institutions d’accueil municipal(crèches et écoles maternelles) s’est créé en mettant au point une pédagogie toute particulière, unepédagogie souvent décrite comme alternative. Loris Malaguzzi (1920-1994), le fondateur de cetteapproche, très inspiré par les grandes figures de l’Éducation nouvelle, toujours à la recherche de nouveauxpossibles pour la réalisation de son rêve pédagogique, à la pointe des nouveautés scientifiques en matièred’éducation enfantine, a mené un véritable combat pour offrir aux enfants de sa ville des institutions de trèshaute qualité.
