Aristoteles'te ve Derrida'da Hayvan Sorusu

This study deals with the question of animal through two philosophers, one classic, and the other contemporary. In the first chapter of the study, Aristotle’s views on the question of animal and his vitality studies will be examined. In this way, the discrepancy in Aristotle's views on animals will be pointed out and some of the problems Aristotle encounters while dealing with the question of animal will be presented. In the second chapter, Derrida’s views concerning the question of animal will be discussed. After presenting the problems that Derrida identifies in the history of philosophy concerning the question of animal, Derrida’s own way of dealing with the question of animal and how he improved this question will be discussed. Thus, two alternative answers which are historically far from each other will be compared.Bu çalışma hayvan sorusunu biri klasik biri çağdaş iki filozof üzerinden ele almaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünün odak filozofu Aristoteles’in hayvan üzerine görüşleri, onun canlılık çalışmaları ve diğer eserleri üzerinden ele alınacaktır. Böylece Aristoteles’in hayvan üzerine görüşlerindeki uyumsuzluğa işaret edilecek ve onun hayvan sorusuyla ilgilenirken karşılaştığı kimi sorunlar serimlenecektir. İkinci bölümde Derrida’nın hayvan sorusuna olan ilgisi ele alınacaktır. Derrida’nın felsefe tarihinde hayvan sorusuyla ilgili tespit ettiği kimi sorunlar gösterildikten sonra Derrida’nın kendi hayvan görüşü ve bu soruyu nasıl geliştirdiği tartışılacaktır. Böylelikle hayvan sorusuna birbirine çağca uzak iki alternatif cevap karşılaştırılacaktır
