The provided input data can be used with the (also provided) ‘R’ code in order to reproduce the empirical fragility curves and their credible intervals of the simplest and most complex model found in the accompanied research article [1]. The input data include a map of 405 municipalities affected by the 1980 Irpinia event. Information regarding the degree of damage sustained by the most as well as the least vulnerable building inventory is also included aggregated at municipality level. The ground motion intensity levels is included. Finally, existing information, which is independent of the 1980 Irpinia data, regarding the shape of fragility curves of the two examined buildings classes are provided
