The aim of the present study was to analyze the behavior of health students at a community college in Greater Florianópolis regarding the prevention of cervical cancer and associated factors with pap smear test accomplishment. Data were collected via a self-administered questionnaire, where students answered questions related to their socioeconomic status, knowledge and prevention methods regarding cervical cancer. The data analysis involved descriptive statistics with mean and standard deviation, median and interquartile range for continuous variables, and frequency analysis for categorical variables.
