Análise das manifestações patológicas em unidade escolar: o caso da Escola Municipal Anísio Teixeira.

Pathological manifestations in buildings have been a subject quite discussed in Civil Engineering, since it is noticeable that they are becoming more frequent, mainly due to the high and disorderly growth of construction and low skilled labor. In this context, this work aimed to analyze a case study. In order to achieve this objective, the occurrence of pathologies was analyzed through the gathering of technical knowledge obtained from books, theses, scientific journals, class notes and internet searches. Among the anomalies observed are cracks, openings and ruptures, which were found to be the result of instability and soil movement. From that, some tests were performed, such as DPL drilling, geophysical drilling, crack monitoring and concrete strength. With the results of the tests three hypotheses were formulated: soil creep, hydrostatic underpressure and soil piping in the foundation. Although creep is the main possibility, the tests were not conclusive for its confirmation and, therefore, it was suggested to perform tests with inclinometers. The solution for correcting the anomalies is the application of deep drains, stabilization with tie rod concrete grid, stabilization of mortar stone wall through concrete piles, construction of new pad foundation, reinforcement of the superstructure and change of the roof of the building. It can be affirmed that this work contributed to the identification of pathological anomalies, expanding knowledge regarding the understanding of underground and structural research essays.As manifestações patológicas nas edificações têm sido um assunto bastante discutido na Engenharia Civil, uma vez que é perceptível o fato de serem cada vez mais frequentes, devido, principalmente, ao elevado e desordenado crescimento da construção civil e à mão de obra pouco qualificada. Nesse contexto, esse trabalho teve o intuito de analisar um estudo de caso. A fim de atingir este objetivo, foram estudadas as ocorrências de patologia por meio da reunião de conhecimentos técnicos obtidos em livros, teses, revistas científicas, notas de aula e buscas na internet. Entre as anomalias observadas estão trincas, aberturas e rupturas, as quais foi constatado que foram resultado da instabilidade e movimentação do solo. A partir disso, foram realizados alguns ensaios, tais como sondagens DPL, sondagem geofísica, acompanhamento de fissuras e resistência do concreto. Com os resultados dos ensaios foram formuladas três hipóteses: rastejo da encosta, subpressão hidrostática e entubamento (piping) do solo na fundação. Apesar do rastejo ser a principal possibilidade, os ensaios não foram conclusivos para sua confirmação e, para tanto, foi sugerida a realização de ensaios com inclinômetros. Como solução para correção das anomalias estão a aplicação de drenos profundos, estabilização com grelha de concreto atirantada, estabilização de muro de pedra argamassada através de estacas de concreto, construção de novas sapatas, reforço de supraestrutura e troca da cobertura da edificação. Pode-se afirmar que esse trabalho contribuiu para identificação de anomalias patológicas, ampliando conhecimentos quanto a compreensão de ensaios de investigação do subsolo e estrutura
