Introduction: Physical exercise is an important and adjuvant tool in the treatment of chronic pain. It is necessary to understand the analgesic effects in different prescriptions and their repercussions in the central nervous system. Objective: To evaluate the effects of continuous and interval running on treadmill on mechanical hyperalgesia in an animal model of chronic post-ischemia pain (CPIP), as well as to analyze the mechanism of action of this effect.
