Introduction: Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a group of neurodevelopmental disorders, children with ASD usually present behavioral changes manifested by deficits in communication and social interaction, with repetitive and stereotyped movements. Equine therapy uses horse as a therapeutic resource, allowing the stimulation of various domains of functioning, and is especially suitable for these children. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to verify the practice of equine therapy in behavioral changes in children with ASD.
