0574: Autograph Book, 1851-1855

This collection contains one autograph book that has been divided in sections titled, “President and Cabinet”, “Senate”, and “House of Representatives” and contains dates between 1851 and 1855. Notably, the book contains the signatures of the following persons: Millard Fillmore, William A. King, Daniel Webster, Henry Clay, and others falling into the previously mentioned groups. Also included in the book is handwritten and illustrated sheet music for the following songs: Canción patriótica (the Argentina national anthem, notes on the page dedicate it to “Jaime B. Bowlin”) and a song “For Miss Virginia Bowlin” (James Bowlin’s wife’s middle name)
