Attempts to investigate the relationship of intellectual level and responses given to the Rorschach Psychodiagnostik Test, commonly called the Rorschach, date from 1921 when the Rorschach was first published. Since that time, however, theory concerning the nature of intelligence has changed through the development of factor analysis. To date, almost no research has been done on the relationship of the specific components of intellectual level and Rorschach responses. Such was the purpose of this study
