The purpose of the TEXT trip to India is to work with Tibetans in exile to share the stories of their lives. We conducted a series of oral interviews with Tibetans that had fled to India from their home country in hope of a better life, free from persecution. This photo was taken before we started recording our first interview of the trip, with TEXT student Andrew Kutchka conducting the interview and our friend Geshe Yeshi Choedup as translator. The woman that we spoke with ended the interview by saying how she hoped that one day she would be able to return to Tibet and that we would join her.
