Abstract

This thesis’ work is part of a multi-disciplinary project developing a novel immunobiosensing (IBS) platform to monitor antibody (Ab) production by specific cells trapped in a micromachined slide. This platform consists of two subsystems, the micromachined slide featuring the cell traps and the IBS slide integrated with the traps to gauge the affinity with which Ab(s) secreted by specific trapped cells bind an immobilized target antigen (Ag).
