This work was developed by means of a heuristic method in which an interactive map was generated for a natural phenomenon occurred in the community of Potrero de Atalaya. Through the use of a smartphone, we obtained a coordinate system and captured the images of the landslide, which were provided to Google® Earth™ with a description. This allowed identifying the point where the collapse occurred. We also carried out the relevant calculations using the pictures to determine parameters such as scale, area, volume, flow, declivity, and the types of rocks.
