As of 2003, the national production of poultry meat registered changes in its productive structure in each producing region. The objective was to obtain the behavior and specialization of poultry meat production, as well as its dynamism in eight regions of Mexico, during 2004-2017. The study applied Growth rates and regional analysis techniques. Jalisco obtained the greatest growth and dynamism in the regions studied, with a hypothetical profit of 18.26 thousand tons, as a result of greater specialization, inter regional competitiveness and better productive conditions.
