Acute cholecystitis is one of the most frequent non-obstetric surgical pathologies during pregnancy. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the treatment of choice for these patients, regardless of the trimester of pregnancy and the delay in treatment implies an increase in the incidence of complications derived from the biliary pathology.
