PhDr. Martin Raudenský, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The thesis deals with "food" as a theme in art and education. Food and prepared dishes are displayed in a variety of ways throughout human history. The method of imaging includes both artistic and documentary elements. In this work the development of visual depiction of food and meals with a focus on photography is mapped. The findings from the literary part of the thesis were subsequently used in the creation of the author's book and in the realisation of the didactic project.
