This article analyses the typological transformations that took place in high-rise accommodation from the 1920’s onwards in Rosario (Argentina). The question that is posed in this paper concerns the role that the architects undertook in the previously mentioned transformations. It continues with the statistical analysis of a representative building sample which has an emphasis on specific buildings (designed by important architects) that are considered as benchmarks of this transformation.
