The C=N double bond is essentially coplanar with the substituted cyclopentadienyl ring with a deviation of 10.3 (1)°. The angle formed by the C=N double bond and the naphthalene ring system is 47.1 (1)°. The C—N=C—C torsion angle is 177.32 (5)°
