An albumen print of children swinging on a maypole at Golden Rule Park taken around 1900. The boys and girls were likely children of employees of the Acme Sucker Rod Company factory in Toledo, Ohio. Golden Rule Park was on the grounds of the factory. The business was owned by Toledo mayor Samuel Milton Jones who believed that the idea of equality is best found in little children who "know no sickly distinctions of social inferiority or superiority
