This photograph is part of a series of photographs taken by the Ohio Department of Agriculture documenting farms in Ohio. This photograph shows a barn and the Brown family farmhouse owned by J. T. Brown near Mechanicsburg, Ohio. Brown lived on his father-in-law's farm where he had recently built fences and a concrete watering trough, and was at that time planning to build a new shed
