Martha Latimer McCook, Daniel's wife, 1802-1879, carte-de-visite. Daniel McCook and eight sons fought in the American Civil War and along with his brother John and his sons became known as the Fighting McCook's. Martha was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania on March 8, 1802. She died on November 10, 1879 and is buried next to her husband in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio
