Jeffrey 6-Ton Locomotives

Electric mine locomotives made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio in use at the Oliver Mining Company, Ely, Minnesota, 1936. They were powered by electricity from an overhead cable which was picked up by a trolley boom on the locomotive. The top speed of these locomotives was about 5 miles per hour
