Steel coal tipple built by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio at the New Byrne Coal Company, Fairmount, West Virginia, 1936. The coal has been processed through a Jeffrey revolving screen to separate it by lump size. Each car is filled with different sized lumps of coal. Different sizes of coal were used in different facilities, such as power plants, home heating, and steam locomotives. Jeffrey belt conveyors are used on the two left loading booms, while on the right is a Jeffrey steel apron conveyor
