Abraham Lincoln bust by Thomas Dow Jones, photographic print

A close-up photograph on the bust sculpture of Abraham Lincoln by sculptor, Thomas Dow Jones, located in the rotunda of the Capitol Building in Columbus, Ohio. The marble sculpture features Lincoln’s head turned to the viewer’s left exposing Lincoln’s left profile. Lincoln is depicted wrapped around a cloak revealing only a portion of his suit and tie. The bust sculpture of Lincoln is displayed along with a carved scene of the surrendering the Confederates soldiers at Vicksburg, Mississippi, also by Thomas Dow Jones.
