Many companies like Firestone supported the Victory Garden program during World War II by experimenting with the most efficient garden types. The photograph was printed in the pamphlet "Manual for Company-Employee Gardens" by the National Victory Garden Institute. The pamphlet is 38 long pages and measures 6" x 9" (15.24 x 22.86 cm).
