This is a photograph of a painting of a Guidon of the 71st Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry. This is a swallowtail flag with a square blue field with 34 stars representing the number of states at the beginning of the Civil War. There are 12 stars in the inner circle, 18 in the outer circle and a star in each corner. The painting was done by Rob Needham. At the bottom is printed 71st Regiment Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry
