Guidon of the 7th O.V.C.

This is a photograph of a painting of Guidon of the 7th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry. It is a swallowtail flag with a square blue field with 34 stars. The stars represent the states of the Union at the beginning of the Civil War. There are 12 stars in the inner circle, 18 in the outer circle and one in each corner. The painting was done by Rob Needham. At the bottom is printed "7th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Cavalry
