This is a photograph of a guidon of the 25th Independent Battery, Ohio Volunteer Light Artillery. This swallowtail flag with 34 stars represents the states of the union at the beginning of the Civil War. On the square field of blue, there are 12 stars in the inner circle, 18 stars in the outer circle and a star in each of the four corners. this photograph is not cataloged
