Dated ca. 1935-1940, this photograph shows Carnegie Library at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, with a caption which reads "The Steel Kings Legacy." Otterbien was founded by Rev. Phillip William Otterbein, a minister in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, in 1847. Due to church mergers, it became associated with the United Methodist Church in 1968. This photograph is one of the many visual materials collected for use in the Ohio Guide. In 1935, President Franklin D.
