Built in 1868, the facade of this red brick building has square and traditional columns. In January 1951, a fire burned the top floor, but court records were saved by volunteers. The fire destroyed its ornate bell-tower, which was replaced with the more simplistic design that stands today. Photo taken by the Works Progress Administration between 1935-194
