Dated ca. 1930-1939, this photograph shows a house built in 1834 by Frederick Baldwin in Hudson, Ohio, in Summit County. His daughter, Caroline Baldwin Babcock, established Hudson's first free library, located in this house. The house was attached to the Hudson Library and Historical Society until 2005, when the organization moved to a new location. This photograph is one of the many visual materials collected for use in the Ohio Guide. In 1935, President Franklin D.
