This document certifies that the Newport home of Mary Rodman (d.1798) was sold to family member, Nathaniel Hazard also of Newport for the sum of eleven hundred dollars including lots. The house was occupied by a renter in 1800, Mary Rodman had been living with the Rotches in New Bedford for several years until she died in 1798. 7" x 5.25
