Thomas Rotch writes to Charles Skinner regarding the sale of Rotch's broadcloth and cashmere. Rotch sent samples of cloth to perspective buyers in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Dayton and Zanesville. Skinner was entrusted with delivering the cloth and carrying additional fabric that he might sell to customers along the way. Skinner was born in Connecticut.
