This photograph shows a choir performing at an unnamed Stonewall Union event that may have been co-sponsored by the Columbus Association of Black and White Men Together. The event may have been the first annual awards dinner, at which Stonewall Union recognized contributions to the gay community of Columbus. The Stonewall Union was founded in 1981 as a community center for Columbus' gay community. It has since changed names to Stonewall Columbus, and still has a large presence in the local LGBT community as the host of Pride, a community center, an HIV/STI testing center, and activist organization.
