Stonewall Community Center photograph

Facade of the first office and community center run by Stonewall Union, the first of its kind in Ohio. This building was eventually replaced by the community center at 4th and High Streets, and the office on North High Street. Stonewall Union was founded in 1981 as a community center for Columbus' gay community. It has since changed names to Stonewall Columbus, and still has a large presence in the local LGBT community as the host of Pride, a community center, an HIV/STI testing center, and activist organization
