The Plasmodium falciparum resistance to antimalarial drugs is one of the contributing factors which influence the increasing prevalence of malaria all over the world. The appearance of parasite strain resistance to chloroquine conducted to the development of new drugs to which the plasmodium had also created resistance. Now a days the combination pyrimethamine-sulfadoxine in addition toamodiaquine is so far the therapeutic form used when there is chloroquine resistance; however resistance to pirimethamine-sulfadoxine has been already reported in some endemic regions. The resurgence and fast dispead of this resistance is the main reason for the development and improvement of diferentstrategies for its study so as the resistance determination...
