In April 2011, PSI/Madagascar will conduct the third follow-up on Diarrhea prevention and the first follow-up on Diarrhea treatment TRaC surveys. For diarrhea prevention, the survey serves as a tool to inform programming by routinely collecting data from cross-sections of populations targeted to water treatment program. More specifically, data collection will focus on use of Sur'Eau or other method such as boiling or filtering prior to consumption. For diarrhea treatment, data collection will focus mainly on use of oral rehydration therapy and the correct use of zinc. Additionally, this survey will measure factors related to opportunity, ability, and motivation (OAM); and the exposure to PSI interventions
