Units are randomly assigned, with equal probability, to receive a positive or negative fact on their Wikipedia page. In some studies, units were also randomly assigned, with equal probability, to have the fact cited or not. Treatment was the addition of either a true positive or true negative fact to the Wikipedia page of US Senators. Outcome measure was the length of time fact lasted on Wikipedia page.
