Tracking surveys serve as tools to inform programming by routinely collecting data from a cross-section of populations at risk for HIV/AIDS and other adverse health outcomes. PSI/China has provided programs for injecting drug users (IDUs) including peer education, drop-in-centers, and other activities based on a previous PSI survey among IDUs in 2004. In order to monitor the progress of the programs and to improve them in the next few years, this survey among IDUs aims to: 1) gain an understanding of knowledge, attitudes and risk behavior regarding HIV/AIDS, sexual practices and needle/syringe (N/S) sharing among IDUs; 2) identify factors to increase IDUs opportunity, ability and motivation (OAM) to adopt risk reducing behavior, namely decr...
