The dataset contains characteristics of the all members of parliament (MPs) participating in at least one roll call vote in the first 17 legislative periods of the German Bundestag (1949-2013). It can be linked to the other two BTVote datasets containing characteristics of the motions voted upon and individual voting behavior on roll calls. Information on linking these datasets is provided in the codebook
