The dataset contains 1,627 alternative congressional and statehouse maps proposed during the 2010 redistricting cycle for 15 states. States included in the data are: AK, AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, MT, NC, NM, NV, OH, SC, TX, VA, WA. These data contain shapefiles or block conversion files for districts in each map, and can be merged with state-level voting districts to measure political or voter characteristics of the proposed alternative maps. Note, these are the raw data that are analyzed in Henderson, John, Brian Hamel and Arron Goldzimer. Forthcoming.
