Background Some studies have shown a higher occurrence of unfavorable lipid profile in women with migraine as compared to the general population. Aim The aim of our study was to assess the link between lipid profile and the frequency of migraine attacks. Patients and methods 64 female migraine patients, mean age 40±10.84 years and mean duration of the disease 18.52±7.57 years, were included into the study. Lipid profile (total cholesterol, TC; low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, LDL-C; high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, HDL-C; triglycerides, TG) was evaluated in all migraine patients.
