The paper presents the results of research in lightweight concrete with open structure made using a lightweight porous foam-glass aggregate produced from recycled glass powder. The goal was to develop lightweight concrete. In order to achieve the best possible properties while reducing binder content, the concrete was reinforced with by-product fibres, which helped reduce the weight of the concrete while delivering satisfactory mechanical properties.
