Introduction. The aim of the study was to explore relationships between sociodemographic and healthrelated suicide risk factors on the one hand, and the presence of suicidal ideation and attempts on the other, in the population of the Łódź province. Material and methods. Participants in the cross-sectional survey study were 719 respondents aged 15-65, residents of the city of Łódź or Łódź province. They were interviewed at home using the SUPRE-MISS sociological survey and the General Health Questionnaire - GHQ-28.
