Women with polycystic ovarian syndrome have many hormonal and metabolic disorders, which are closely related to the another. PCOS is the most common endocrinopathy in women at reproductive age. The problem is an effective diagnosis of the disease, which is impeded by the different clinical symptoms. These women have the following symptoms: insulin resistance, obesity, diabetes and lipid disorders, which require an appropriate diet therapy. It is necessary to introduce a low energy diet with controlled fatty acids which is based on the products with a low glycemic index and regular physical activity.
