Background: Bioresorbable vascular scaffold (BVS) implantation is a new, promising treatment method of coronary artery disease. Preliminary data in patients with stable angina are encouraging. However, the utility of BVS was not sufficiently evaluated in the setting of acute thrombotic lesions.
