Movies afford the opportunity to learn valuable lessons. They enable us to experience events that focus on points of view other than our own and allow us to raise our awareness of different cultures. Some movies serve as examples of what to do, and, at other times, what not to do. Remember the Titans is just such a film. Through the story line, we experience the racial desegregation of the south in 1971 and learn how contact hypothesis strategy can bring diverse groups together
