PRÁTICAS DO PSICÓLOGO HOSPITALAR: um relato de experiência

Introduction: Hospital Psychology meets the suffering caused by the losses generated by the process of falling ill, whether physical, financial, emotional or subjective losses, which cause impacts and are experienced in a very unique way by each sick person. The hospital psychologist works in front of the common reaction phases of such processes, in the reception of pain, offering a qualified listening to the various ways of suffering, being effective in helping in the conflicts, anguish and coping of both patients and their families when facing the pain. health vulnerability. Given this, it is essential that the psychologist is trained and available for the process of therapeutic interventions, actions and practices in this context. Objective: The present study aims to discuss some practices of the Hospital Psychologist. Methodology: This is an experience report based on experiences in a public hospital in a city in the region of Alto Paranaíba / MG, by a Psychology professional, specialist in the area, from March to December 2018. The data were collected upon observation. Considerations: During the observational period, it was possible to notice that patients, in general, are receptive to Psychology professionals and to the proposals made, whether individual or collective. The reception and interventions in beds, emergency and medication, to patients and also to family members, are fundamental to minimize the anguish regarding the waiting and uncertainties related to the procedures, the possibility of injuries, the reaction and emotional phases before the disease and even before. of death. Disease prevention and health promotion practices in the informative and integrative modalities are relevant, since besides creating an interactional environment and approach between team and patient, they promote awareness of important topics such as suicide, bullying, prevention for the female public, care for men's health, family and interpersonal relationships. Humanization actions in the waiting room and other sectors can be used to work on managing emotions, empathy, care, respect and a look at the importance of the other. This study has theoretical relevance and offers contributions about the role of the psychologist in the hospital, as well as arouse interest in this area of ??knowledge, so that more foundations and practices of Psychology in the hospital are built.Introdução: A Psicologia Hospitalar vai de encontro ao sofrimento provocado pelas perdas geradas pelo processo do adoecer, quer sejam elas perdas físicas, financeiras, emocionais ou subjetivas, que provocam impactos e são vivenciadas de forma muito singular por cada pessoa adoecida.  O psicólogo hospitalar trabalha frente às fases reacionais comuns de tais processos, no acolhimento da dor, oferecendo uma escuta qualificada diante das diversas maneiras do sofrer, sendo eficaz em auxiliar nos conflitos, angústias e no enfrentamento tanto dos pacientes, como de seus familiares frente à vulnerabilidade em saúde. Diante disso, é fundamental que o psicólogo esteja capacitado e disponível para o processo de intervenções terapêuticas, ações e práticas neste contexto. Objetivo: O presente estudo objetiva discutir algumas práticas da atuação do Psicólogo Hospitalar. Metodologia: Trata-se de um relato de experiência pautado nas vivências em um hospital público numa cidade na região do Alto Paranaíba/MG, de uma profissional da Psicologia, especialista na área, no período compreendido entre março e dezembro de 2018. Os dados foram coletados mediante observação. Considerações: Durante o período observacional, foi possível perceber que os pacientes, de um modo geral, são receptivos aos profissionais da Psicologia e às propostas realizadas, quer sejam individuais ou coletivas. O acolhimento e intervenções em leitos, emergência e medicação, aos pacientes e também aos familiares, são fundamentais para minimizarem a angústia diante da espera e incertezas relacionadas aos procedimentos, à possibilidade de agravos, às fases reacionais e emocionais diante da doença e até mesmo diante da morte. Práticas de prevenção de doenças e promoção da saúde nas modalidades informativa e integrativa são relevantes, pois além de criarem um ambiente interacional e de aproximação entre equipe e paciente, promovem conscientização de temas importantes como suicídio, bullying, prevenções para o público feminino, cuidado com a saúde do homem, relações familiares e interpessoais. Ações de humanização na sala de espera e demais setores podem ser utilizadas para se trabalhar o manejo de emoções, empatia, cuidados, respeito e um olhar acerca da importância do outro. Este estudo apresenta relevância teórica e oferece contribuições acerca da atuação do psicólogo no âmbito hospitalar, além de suscitar o interesse por esta área de conhecimento, afim de que sejam construídas mais fundamentações e práticas da Psicologia no hospital. &nbsp
